Campanile NATURE - Alençon

Location was ideal for us, close to our travel route with the bonus of local amenities (supermarket to stock up) and refuelling nearby too. Quiet but easily accessible site with ample parking. Staff were very welcoming, friendly, informative, helpful and professional throughout our brief stay - thankyou. Room was as expected. En-suite bath/shower room was clean and shower was good. Towels good quality too. Kettle and tea/coffee but paper cups (at least there was scope for a brew). The bed !!! The words so comfy in no way do it justice so I’ll just leave it there, best bed I’ve slept in for a long time. Didn’t eat in the on site restaurant but the menu looked decent and it was being used by plenty of other travellers so a good sign.

I have stayed at many Campanile hotels in France. They are built to a standard pattern, with standard facilities. They are usually close to the autoroute and good value for an overnight stop on the way to or from a main destination. This one had been recently refitted and is one of the better ones. The dinner and breakfast were both pleasant and well priced. The staff were friendly. I awoke the next day refreshed and ready for the next day's drive.

It was good, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. The location on the industrial estate was fine, it was only an overnight stop. Not really suited for a longer stay in our opinion. Dinner in the dining room was excellent too. The fact there was free parking right outside our ground floor chalet was really great.

Very clean and comfortable. Good evening meal and breakfast. Excellent shower and huge, comfy bed. External areas neat and tidy. Handy to park outside room. Staff pleasant and efficient. Altogether a very well run and nice place on the edge of Alencon.

Great customer service from Mrhdi, Rudyard and Nicolas when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Great evening meal cooked by Nicolas and table service with Mehdi. Plenty of choice and a large buffet as well. It was our second visit to Campanile Alencon in 6 months and they remembered us, which was very pleasant. Great to see them working as a team to get the restaurant cleaned up ready for breakfast. Comfortable, basic room. The accommodation is fine for the price. Parking right outside the door is great for unloading and loading the car. Kettle in the room for an early morning cuppa. Breakfast is great! Such a wide choice of cereals, bread, fruits etc. Ideal stopover for us driving from Spain to Calais.
